Thursday (2:55-4:25 pm) | Off-Site
Semester 2 Programme | Cost: $260 (Add. Material Cost: $300)

Held at the Champions Fairways Golf Course on Eng Neo, the students are grouped according to age. A professional coach offers basic instruction on golf grip, club swing and stance. The children are learning good habits at an early age and the coaches carefully guide them, step by step, through the different techniques and skills involved in accurate driving, chipping and approach play. The students also have an opportunity to hone their putting skills on the practice greens. The extra material cost is for the golf balls, bus transportation to the driving range and sessions with professionals. If your child already has his/her own golf clubs, they're recommended to bring it with them. However, the driving range also provides the clubs free-of-charged to those who do not have it. Language of instruction will be English.

Mr. Turner and Ms. Gascoin are homeroom teachers at GESS and have been playing golf for over ten years. They ran the golf CCA since the 2013/14 academic year which culminated in many of the young golfers being taken out on their very first full round of golf at Green Fairways golf course. All teachers have had golfing lessons in the past.
