The cooking class CCA shows the children the journey from field to fork. It offers students the experience to learn how to prepare a nice meal that they can enjoy with their friends.
We will introduce the young Cooks to different types of food like fresh fruits and vegetables from all around the world. Health is a very important aspect, so we want to prepare wholesome food like healthy ketchup or healthy ice cream. During the semester, children learn which ingredients we need for a certain recipe. We will discuss food waste and how we can use leftovers for other meals hereby creating less waste.
The correct and safe use of the utensils will be shown every lesson. The food we didn’t consume or use at the end of the lesson will be packed in a recyclable container with each student’s name. This also contributes to the idea of creating less waste and saving our environment.

At the end of the semester the students will create their own meals as a team.
