Sewing promotes fine motorics, creativity and concentration, endurance and accurate work. It unites like-minded and supports self-esteem. To be able to produce a project on ones-own make very proud! This CCA is also for boys. We are making a range of small, useful products using hand and machine sewing techniques. Some products may include: simple bags, stuffed toys, pillows and utensils etc. The project will be determined by the age and prior Knowledge (if available) of the student. Beginners are welcome. No experience in sewing or stitching required. Language of instruction is English and German.

Christiane Krink has been sewing for a long time: for herself, her family and friends. She has conducted sewing classes in Germany before moving here and has conducted classes for the past 4 years at the German Association in SG. She is looking forward to embark on a creative adventure with your children and to see how the spark of an idea forms to the first unique self-made product!
