Wednesday (2:55-4:25 pm) | Preschool Art Room (B207)
Semester 1 Programme | Cost: $260 (Add. Material Cost: $30)

In this CCA, the children will be introduced to the world of art. Every week we will bring in a character from a book or a visual art work from an artist. This will allow the children to have an idea and explore their creative minds to create their desired artwork. Each week we will explore different materials for them to carry out their own ideas and imagination based on their own perspective. We may explore all the different types of art through natural materials, paper, recycle materials, paintings, crayons, clay etc. Extra material fees may apply.
Languages of Instruction: German and English.

My name is Marlisa Alamdin. I was born and raised in Singapore. I moved to Malaysia at the age of 16. I live with my husband who is from Hamburg and am a mother to three boys aged 14 and twin 8-year olds. I graduated with honours in Medical Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, UK. Prior to working at GESS, I was in sales and marketing for over 10 years. I am now working with GESS as a TA in the pre-school department since 2016.
My name is Verena Stotz. I am originally from the north of Germany, married to a Brit and mother of two daughters, 6 and 7 years old. Before moving to Singapore more than 5 years ago, I lived for 2 years in UK and nearly 5 years in Santiago de Chile. Prior to my last maternity leave, I worked as a commercial project manager for infrastructure projects. For the last four years, I've been working as a relief, shadow and assistant teacher for the pre school department at GESS, both in English and German speaking classes. Since 2016 I’ve been assisting the running club CCA at the school.
