This course is for the advanced swimmers who can swim at least one length of freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke. We will refine their strokes to perfection and teach them all the starts, turns and finishes.
Objectives: Learn to enter water using a compact jump, to do backward and forward somersault in water, to swim 100m continuously using front crawl, breaststroke, backstroke, survival backstroke or sidestroke. Dressed in swimwear, shorts and t-shirt, learn stamina swimming lasting 3-5 minutes, using any appropriate swim stroke, changing each minute. Continue to develop and improve in all the 4 recognized swim strokes, student's stamina, endurance and competency. Swimming (Boys & Girls) competitions are part of ACSIS Season 2, i.e. events take place between 13 Nov 2017 and 10 Feb 2018.
